Here are some guidelines to rate as objectively as possible...
RATING GUIDELINES FOR MOVIES
Excellent: definitely one of the most outstanding movie you've ever seen. A masterpiece, no less!
Very good: one of your favorite movies. Though it can't quite qualify as a masterpiece, you always watch it with great pleasure.
Good: a rather good movie, but it's unlikely you'll ever watch it again. Well... maybe in a long time.
Neutral: either a mixture of good and bad, either you remember having watched it someday, but that's about all you can remember...
Bad: you can clearly remember that was not a good movie!
Very bad: what an experience! You watched it till the end, like hypnotized: you could not believe it was so bad!
Awful: and they call that a movie !? For your sanity, you did not even try to reach the end...
RATING GUIDELINES FOR PERSONS
Excellent: you're really fond of this artist. You don't miss any of his movies!
Very good: you like this artist, and it's good to know that he participated in the movie you're watching.
Good: you have a rather good feeling about this artist.
Neutral: you don't have much to say about this artist: it's like he's transparent...
Bad: you have a rather bad feeling about this artist.
Very bad: you dislike this artist so much that it's really annoying he participated in the movie you're watching.
Awful: you hate this artist! Never again will you make the mistake of watching one of his movies!
