When a picture is downloaded from the internet, it is saved on your hard drive, and the next time it'll be displayed much faster. But loading the file from your hard drive isn't instantaneous either, and a small delay can be observed.
Does it have an effect on the scrolling ? Does it slow down the scrolling ? Does it happen whatever the layout and the thumb size ?
