Hi Hector. Here's an idea, I hope you'll consider it. I sometimes find myself unable to remember what movie I watched last week, or two weeks before. I think it would be great if we could have a " Sort by date " filter so we can see the last movies we watched. What do you think ?

Yes, it's already on my todo list. Managing data like:
- where you saw a movie (theater, TV, DVD, etc...)
- when
- how many times

Great

. Do you have any idea when you will add these functions ( approximately ) ?

Approximately in March.

Of course. It goes without saying.

Seems that I'm not the only one that reads every single post (both old and new).

Related to OP request... possibly a filter for date added to Coollector library. In other words, the date I bought the movie and imported it into Coollector. Like a Creation Date in Windows OS, would let me know my most recent purchases er... downloads =-)
Nice feature... but not a must have, even for me, and its my suggestion.

What I plan to add, is a viewing date. When you'll rate a movie, the viewing date will be set to today, but it'll be possible to edit that value. You'll even be able to enter several viewing dates, with additional details like where you watched the movie (theater, tv, dvd, etc...).
What you suggest is slightly different (date you got the video). I will think about it. If you have an elegant solution to combine both, please tell me.

I don't know exactly how to combine it. I don't know what you have in mind for the date you watched movies. But I was thinking, when a movie is imported into Coollector - it just adds a tag "Data Added" for the file. Or... if you can import Operating System's Creation Date (although it wouldn't apply to DVDs not on computer).

Yes, that's what I had understood. The same way the video has a "release date" field, I would add a "acquisition date" field, that would be filled automatically.
