G'day CoolHector :D

I just stumbled upon your program, and it appeals to me :P

Might I ask 2 questions:
1. Which barcode reader is solid, and tested and proven to work with your software?
2. Re: this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=922

As my nick suggests, I from that tiny shitty country in Europe called 'The Netherlands'. So I will be running into a lot of problems scanning the European DVDs I bought over the years?

Thank you for your reply,

Bye,

Personally, I have a CueCat scanner. It's the cheapest scanner that you can find, and it works quite well.

On this thread, the person wasn't using a scanner.

I've already travelled to the Netherlands, and it's a great country with some of the finest european people.

The problem won't be with the scanning itself, but with the fact that most of your DVDs will be missing from our database of existing videos. We currently list 95% of the videos from Amazon.com and CDuniverse.com. In about 3 months, it should be 100%, and we'll move on to listing the videos from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, Amazon.es, etc...

Please note that you can add your owned videos even if they're missing from our database of existing videos, it's just a bit less convenient than scanning. For dutch users, scanning will become a more and more effective input method during 2013.

I have been loading my collection using a CCD Barcode Scanner. I purchased it because it uses a USB connection instead of the PS2 type. Works really well. Never in my life did I think I would have need of one !

Here is the Amazon US link -
