It took an eternity, but the pictures are finally on the server:

Thank you very much !

I got most of the images for the last set but it seems I missed a few due to my bad connection. I'll upload them as soon as I get a chance to download the missing images.

If you missed only a few, I'd say it's not worth creating a new set or changing the last set for them. Don't you agree ?

I mean the third set. I haven't created the rars for 21% - ...% as yet.

I hadn't understood that there was a third set coming.

Thank you. I'll handle it as soon as I have released Coollector 3.24.4.

I recently noticed 3 things that I thought might be worth mentioning:
  • It seems the small images need to be extracted to 'MoviesDpt\Items\' not 'MoviesDpt\' like the others (I guess if you wanted to it would be no big problem for one of us to fix this and re-upload at some point)
  • There are a few grammatical errors on the zipped images page.
  • Users that extract small images and some/all large images will have duplicate images for thousands of movies. The last time I checked, if Coollector detects that a small version exists it will download the large version on hover regardless of whether or not it has already been downloaded. Is this still the case? This would probably also happen for users that have previously seen/downloaded lots of Large or Small Images. I didn't really notice this before because i used a deleter to remove all the unused images from my own system.

Oh shit :(

Please tell me.

I know, but there's nothing we can do about it.

I'll check.

False Alarm. It seems I noticed and fixed it before uploading. (I just re-downloaded the file) :sorry:

Will need to get back to you on that one.

This is what i used to remove the junk images before zipping. It gave me a chance to brush up on my c#. Maybe one day you will have a better solution.

I'll only keep small images and the most popular large images on my drives. Removing the duplicate small images on all drives should save me about 1GB+. 8)

That's a relief

Frankly, it's such a small issue that I don't plan to fix at all.

Makes sense, as long as Coollector knows which version to load.

Yes, I need to fix this problem. For that, I have 4 options:

1) modify the program to check the presence of the small and big files, which means more disk access, knowing that disk access is what slows down the program the most :(

2) recommend on the zip download page to not download a mix of small and big images.

3) make your deleter program available on the zip download page, and asking the users to use it if they've downloaded a mix of big and small images.

4) handle everything from Coollector itself: download the zip files, extract them, and delete some files if necessary. It'll be the ultimate solution, the most convenient for the user, and I'll do it someday, but unfortunately not right now.

Since 4) won't happen soon, I think that 3) is the best temporary option.
