Fullscreen borderless form mode with the bar at the top missing until the cursor touches the top of the screen. (Kinda like f11 in Firefox).

I'm not sure how useful that would to me with a full HD screen but it could probably prove useful in saving some real estate on smaller devices. The actual reason this crosses my mind is my frustration in being unable to alter the window borders when skinning so my opinion is probably at least somewhat biased.
I expect you'll soon reply saying the benefits are not worth the efforts it would take to implement. :nono:

Absolutely. I had the exact same idea, and the web browsers were my inspiration too. F11 works with all the web browsers, not just Firefox, and I plan to use F11 for Coollector too. I don't consider it a priority, but I'll do it when I'll find time (it's on my todo list).

You have created new skins for Coollector?

It's not as cool with chrome if you ask me. I'm using it right now and my tabs don't magically reappear when i hover at the top of the screen... :(

Not recently. I lost then during formatting. It doesn't really matter much though, I was mostly playing around since I can't seem to find a time where ----- is also available to try and design a skin from the ground up.

The skin I'm using right now i simply a mod of the default skin tempered for less contrast and a smoother feel.

It'll be great to add it to the public skins when it's finished.

I might as well upload this. I still haven't did much more yet but I had already tweaked most of the things i encounter regularly. The stuff i don't use often remain untouched since I tent to just touch stuff up as i go along. If I make any changes to it I'll let you know.

Thank you. I've installed your skin to try it. The difference with the default skin is very subtle, I'm not sure if it's worth making it a public skin.

If you think it's worth making it a skin public, you just tell me.

I tend to spend quite a few hours a day reading from my computer screen so I've noticed a few things over time while optimizing to reduce eyestrain.

The rules that about using white can also be applied to the use of bright colors. I tried to find an article that was short and to the point so that hopefully reading it doesn't take up much of your time. Do you understand the purpose of all those subtle changes now?

As an example of this type of color use i cannot find any use of pure white (ffffff) on this page and i only found pure black (000000) in a few isolated places.

Yes, I understand your point. Personally, I like the default skin better, but I'm not here to judge anybody's skin. It's great that you could adjust the default skin to your liking, it's the beauty of the skin system. That's why I'll add your skin to the public skins if you ask me to. You're the author, you decide if you want to make it public or not. Maybe I'm in the minority and the majority will prefer your variation over the original. I wouldn't be the least offended if it was the case.
