Based on some screenshot found on App Store and:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1228
there should be some option to Scan video files, but I can't find it (Tools -> Scan my video files).
When I select 'Automatic file scanning' option found under 'Manage your video files', nothing happens.
I'm using v3.26.6 Life for OSX.

So how do I associate existing files with the movie items?

Indeed, the management of your video files has been modified recently to be more powerful.

The equivalent to "Scan my video files" is now "Automatic file scanning".

Did you try it?
