Is it possible to download all pictures from collector for users that don't have internet connection, and just ad them to some instal folder?

Hector, could you maybe upload new version of pictures? Lot of these posters are replaced, and there's a lot of new ones.
Also would be nice if you add in separate archive pictures of other stuff: persons, charachters and existing videos covers.

Of course I want to do that, but it's hard to find the time. I can't make it a priority because very few people are getting the pictures this way.

Hello, I have an iMac with Yosemite (in French).
Where to copy the images?

I suspect that you have problems to find the location because you are using the version from the Mac App Store.
I've updated the page to also provide instructions for the Mac App Store version:

http://www.coollector.com/images.html

On a Mac, the location is different whether you have the Mac App Store version or not.

If you're using the version from our website, the images must be placed inside
"~/Library/Application Support/Coollector Movie Database/Images/MoviesDpt/"

If you're using the Mac App Store version, Sandboxing makes it a bit more complex...
"~/Library/Containers/com.Coollector.CoollectorMovieDatabase/Data/Library/Application Support/Coollector Movie Database/Images/MoviesDpt/"

Starting with OS X Lion, the folder "~/Library/" is now hidden.
To find it, you'll have to use the "Go" menu of the Finder.
At first, the "Go" menu doesn't list the "~/Library/" folder,
but holding down the option key will make it appear.

Hello, thanks for the answer but I do not find the folders (in red) you mention i.e.

neither:
"~/Library/Application Support/Coollector Movie Database/Images/MoviesDpt/"
nor:
"~/Library/Containers/com.Coollector.CoollectorMovieDatabase/Data/Library/Application Support/Coollector Movie Database/Images/MoviesDpt/"

How to know if I have downloaded form your site or from the App store?

Best regards

I have Yosemite 10.10.2

Weird question... You should remember if you've used the Mac App Store or not...

Have you installed Coollector? Is it running on your computer right now?

Sorry, I have just checked and it came from the App Store.
It is running fine and when connected I have all images.
But no sign of the mentionned folders on my computer (show hidden files activated).

Best regards
Mbou

Then you have to find the folder "~/Library/Containers/". It's impossible that you don't have it.

Use the menu "Go" of the Finder. At first, the "Go" menu doesn't list the Library folder, but holding down the option key will make it appear. Once you have found "~/Library/", the folder "Containers" should be in it...
