It would be nice if Coolector would open with OWNED movies in the right pane as a user selectable preference.

This is the reason I use Coolector. To view and keep track of MY collection.

As the program is now configured I have to go to Criterion Search to view my Coolection. Why not have it default to this?

It would also be nice to export/print Movie Title, Genre and perhaps a few other fields. Maybe down the road make the fields user selectable and in whatever order required.

I'm enjoying this program very much!

Coollector is much more than just a collection manager. It's also a personalized encyclopedia of movies. And persons have their own panel ! It's a great strength of the program to show the persons filmographies, and to allow some ping pong between the movie panel and the person panel.

If you're only interested in the "collection manager" aspect of Coollector, that's too bad, but I respect.

I gave it some thought, and I think I have a solution that'll make everyone happy. When Coollector closes, I'll make it remember which panels are visible, and the next time it'll open, it'll in the same state. If you quit the program with YOUR collection displayed, it will open again with YOUR coollection displayed


It's precisely what we plan to do, hopefully in a few months.
