I am using the latest version prior to yesterday's release. I have downloaded all three large movie image collections. My question is: When I open the program and click on even the most popular movie, the program proceeds to download images. This happens with any movie I select. I know it is downloading additional images because my router lights are showing activity, and the total number of image files increases. Why does it always do this? You would think it wouldn't after you have already downloaded all the movie image files. Thank you.

You've installed the set of movie posters, and the downloads you detect are probably person pictures and videos covers. If you check, my guess is that the number of images from the "Items" folder doesn't increase, does it? Also, if you display again a movie that you've already displayed, no new image should be saved to disk.

It is precisely the number of those image files that increases when I click on a new movie. Thank you.

I need to make sure that we're fine... You're saying that it's the persons and videos pictures that are downloaded? As I expected?

Yes, as I said. But my point was that if I had already downloaded the three sets of images (approx. 4gb), the total number of files should not increase at all, unless I land on one of the movies recently added to the database by you. Or am I wrong?

The number of files in the folder "Items", yes. But not the number of files in the folders "Persons" and "Medias". You need to clarify which folder you were monitoring. If it's the folder "Images", that folder includes the folders "Persons" and "Medias".

Yes, the set of movie posters is about one year old.
