| Post subject: | Barcode Scanner Problems |
I bought a barcode scanner which I used to build my library of DVD's. This week I went to add some new material and the scanner program handshake was not there. I figure it is either a problem with the scanner or the program. I have recently upgraded my OS to Mavericks. One thing I need to ask is what setting does my scanner have to be on to hookup with the program. The info on my scanner is ARM 32 bit Cortex V3.0 |

Your barcode scanner just simulates a keyboard input (as if you had entered the barcode yourself with the keyboard). Please make the test to open a text editor, and scan a barcode. If the barcode isn't added to the text you're editing, then your scanner isn't working properly. You should check if your scanner has some configuration settings that you can adjust. |
