Collectorz is paying Google AdWords to have their ad displayed. It's quite expensive but they can afford it because their software is crazily expensive. I can't afford to do the same because Coollector isn't expensive enough.

It seems to work great for Collectorz and I've considered using the same strategy (high price + find customers with AdWords). But I can't resolve myself to treat users as cash cows. I'm not like that! I'm a programmer and programmers are not good sellers. Collectorz are good sellers... Their founder doesn't program at all. He's a marketing wiz. He even has a blog about AdWords marketing.

I hate this kind of advertising collectorz is using.
Maybe u should use the word collectorz 1000 times
in you're websites meta description !!

Play it a bit tricky ;-)

Very bad advice! Google would penalize my website. I already have not that many users coming from Google. To the point that I wonder if there's something wrong with my website SEO :worried:

When people hear about Coollector, a good percentage adopt it. The problem is that few people actually hear about it. Spread the word!

Unless I raise the price, I don't have any budget for advertising.

I hope the next version 5 will make a big splash thanks to the new features.
If it doesn't, I'll consider marketing strategies... :sorry:

Most of the brands have now beginning to take advantage of the online marketing methods. The paid marketing is quite popular because it takes less time to show the results. Even I hired the Adwords Marketing team for my blog’s promotions and got amazing results.

As a free app, I don't have any marketing budget. Being a free app isn't something that I plan/want to change.
