File Scanning

New user trying to figure stuff out. I have barcode scanned my video collection, and imported it into Coolector, I have about twenty obscure DVDs that are unrecognized, and a few I scanned are mis-ID'ed.

BUT my question is this:
I want to use the [Tools] [Scan your Video Files], and once selected, it asks me to select a folder, but I am not certain WHERE and WHAT folder to point Coolector to. It doesn't seem to consider my xxxx.cool file that is in my Coolector folder, and as I viewed your help video, I note it is pointed towards the MyVideos folder, which I don't seem to even have on my Windows 10 PC.

to request the barcodes that are missing. You can also request the barcodes that were mis-ID'ed.

I want to use the [Tools] [Scan your Video Files]

This tool is for scanning the video files on your disk. It's _file_ scanning, it has nothing to do with _barcode_ scanning.

I am not certain WHERE and WHAT folder to point Coolector to.

If you do have video files that you want to scan, simply select the folder where they are.

Ok so Scan video files is looking for actual videos, not records of Video's entered into my database, thanks.
