This is a really personal thing, but just for my curiosity really. Currently you can filter searches on here by popularity, rating, title and year. Could you add in a formula to have your program organise it by weighted rating - ie a combination of the rating score + rating amount?

Because currently if you sort by rating you get stuff with like 95 scores being listed at the top... with about 25 people rating it.

I currently don't plan to do that. I have a ton of other improvements that I consider more prioritary.

Oh yeah, this is kinda small. It's not a priority at all in my mind - but it'd be nice (at least for me) because IMDB itself doesn't even do weighted rating organisation, which is kinda bad imo.

Instead of doing some weighing, I plan to add an IMDb rating filter and an IMDb popularity filter where you can set a minimum or a maximum. Combined with the ordering, we'll be able to achieve what you want. The search will be a little complicated to set, but with the upcoming saved searches it'll be easier (saved searches will record the filters as well as the order).

A minimum rating and popularity threshold is cool too. Possibly a maximum too (would make sense if you want to isolate in favour of obscure content)?

That's what I said, minimum and maximum too.
