Forum and DB download query

I have 2 queries......

The next question is probably in the forum but is is 18 pages long, not alphabetic with titles and I could not find a way to enter a query. Can you explain to me how to efficiently use the forum please.

My second question is a query as to why updates take so long. The latest update of program and DB was apparently 244 664Kb in size yet it takes over 20 minutes to download. Why? It used only take a few minutes. Is the problem at my end or at the source? What can I do to speed it up?

Thank you for reporting that issue. Personally I haven't noticed any slowdown, the last time I've updated it took less than a minute. The problem could be on your side or at the source, in both case hopefully it was temporary. If my servers were overwhelmed I could upgrade them but don't think they're undersized.
