hi hector,
i had to format my hard drive so i saved the list of movies i own. now that i have reinstalled coolector how can i get that information back into the program.

Ouch ! It hurts !
The file you should have backed up is:
My Documents\Coollector\MyCoollection.cool
It contained all your data, what you've rated, what you own, etc...
But if you only kept a list, we're in trouble because Coollector doesn't have any import capabilities for the moment. I'm busy with other features, and won't be able to add the import capability until several months.
Do you have a big collection ? Is it too much to start again ?

i think i saved the whole thing so i may be lucky, 350 dvd's over 400 videos not to many.
