 Post subject: Update Problem

just carried out clean re-install of xp and now loading back up programs. Old version of Collector with my libary works fine, but when i try to update program all i get is "collector.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" Have loaded up latest version which works fine, however if i copy my old library cool file in then same error happems? Can someone help please or do i need to reload my library of films back one by one into the new version of the program?

Of course not !

I'm not certain what's happening, but if you have installed Coollector 1.11, try deleting the file "indexing.dat" which is inside the directory \Coollector\Database\ and tell me if it helps.

If it doesn't work, you'll have to send me your cool file.

Thanks for quick response, tried deleting indexing.dat but made no difference. Collector 1.11 works fine but as soon as i click on my old mycollection file error and shuts down. Any other suggestions?

Alright, I have fixed your coollection. Hope you received it 8)

P.S: it's not related to updating to v1.11. The file got slightly corrupted before that (I still don't know how).
