Hi (cool)Hector,

Would it be a big deal to add the location field to the print results for owned movies? I lost a network drive last night filled with iso backups of DVDs. :cry2:

But if I had the location field in the Coollector print results I'd at least quickly know which DVDs I need to back-up again since my Coollector location field contains the drive info. Otherwise I'll have to compare my physical DVD collection to what's on several network drives to come up with what's missing. Make sense?

Or if there is an easier/existing way for me to extract titles by location please let me know.

Modifying the interface would take too long, but tell me the location of the network drive you've lost, and I'll program you something in 5 minutes.

Here's the program:

http://www.coollector.com/Coollector.exe

You press "CONTROL + P" and it'll print the list of all the locations into "C:\Locations.txt"

Thanks (cool)Hector! You are the BOMB! :yahoo:

This is really useful. I also spotted an input error on one of my files. :D

Maybe for version 3 you can include something like this as a feature.

Thanks again!

Yes, of course.

Well, version 3 won't have this feature at launch, but some time after, I'll extend the filtered search with more filters, and one of the new filters will be the location.

Still wish we had type with a blank field to type in. or at least add avi, h264, and mp4 as they seem to be the most popular, or just create a digital option

It's already possible to input the value you want.

Click the field to give it the focus, and input whatever you want: "avi", "h264", "mp4", anything you want !
