But it will be strange if you make a string search and you get a movie whose only the original title is matching.

Most of those titles would be in other languages that the user wont search in, (eg. I wouldn't be typing in querre des deux etc.) plus if they don't like it, just don't use it.

It would make the grid much less crowded in many cases.
For some movies I can hardly make out the English from all the wording.

Hey, why not show exact matches first in string search results? (if any were found). I searched for house and got 396 results.

There were however only 3 movies with the name house. Similar situation with lost, alien, killers etc. Some movies tend to have one word names that are parts of the name for multiple other movies.

I think exact matches should be given priority.

I don't know. It's such a minority. I'm not completely convinced that it's worth to make changes for so little.
