Hi Hector,.

I removed (backed it up) my *.cool file and started to scan my
HDD´s. I noticed that some (maybe 10%) thumbnails do not load
automaticly while scrolling trough the owned movies.
"I didn´t remove the pictures from disc"

I stop scrolling at some point where thumbs are not loaded and
wait a while,... nothing happens !

When i klick an empty placeholder, all the missing thumbs in the
visible area are loaded.

BUG ?

(edit) I noticed this ONLY happens scrolling using the scrolbar, wenn
i scroll with the mousepointer in the thumbs area and using the scrolwheel,
the thumbs show themselves directly.

pls move this posting into the BUGS area (sorry)

grtz

I tried for a long time, but I couldn't reproduce this bug. I tried offline (of course) with XP and Windows 7.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. You click the movie without picture, and it shows on the right panel with the picture ?

How do you scroll ? Clicking an arrow ? Clicking the shaft ? Dragging the thumb ?

Hi Hector,.

I click the empty space below the slider in the left window, or the
down-arrow. When i drag the slider down the thumb refresh like they should.
Strange is that yesterday the problem occured in "Owned Videos"
and today "after the upgrade to 99.20" the problem showes under
"Movie Encyclopedia" and no longer under Owned,...

If i want to see the thumbnails:
resizing the main window, all the thumbs show up and/or by clicking
into ONE of the empty placeholders, the missing thumbs appear.

I also ONLY deleted the database file and leaved the rest in place,
then started scanning the HDD´s over again.
I use the portable version

I'm sorry, as I said, I can't reproduce this bug. Can someone else reproduce this bug ?

Obviously, it's not a problem with the pictures on your disk, considering that there are tricks to make them show.

Since I don't have HDD movies to scan, I can't reproduce the same bug.

However, when I open the program online, the thumbnails on the right panel are updated ... to a point. If the movie has more than one page of thumbnails, clicking the scrollbar to advance to the next page of thumbnails does not update the second/subsequent page(s) of thumbnails. They stay blank white, as the OP's attached screenshot. Clicking the scrollbar up and down initiates no update. Same thing using the scrollbar up/down arrows.

BUT, if I use the scrollbar slider/placeholder, OR if I select the right panel as the focus and I use the keyboard's pagedown/pageup buttons, then the thumbnails get updated.

With more testing, I've found the same applies on the left panel. Since I've downloaded the movie posters .rar files, the blank movie posters are few and far between. As with the right panel, the left panel thumbnails are updated almost immediately upon opening. However, clicking the scrollbar to advance to the next page(s) with blank movie posters does nothing to update them. Same thing using the scrollbar arrows.

But if I use the scrollbar slider, then these blank movie posters get updated. And if I use the keyboard's pageup/pagedown buttons, the movie posters also get updated.

I'm amazed it's true, but indeed the same happens on my computer.

I will release a new version today to fix this bug.

Thank you very much !

Thank you very much for reporting this bug.

My mistake was that I thought you were using the program offline :sorry:
