There is something else that I personally feel is REALLY IMPORTANT that needs to be done with the program.

Can you make it so that what the user picks to have showing sticks when the user exists the program, so that it will show the same thing the next time?

In other words, for example, I only want it to show USA movies. But very time I enter the program, it shows all movies from a bunch of countries.

I'm talking about the options at the top left "sticky". Please??? :)

I had already told that this feature will be available very soon with version 3.

On the topic of settings, in the "Portable.txt" file, for the portable version of course, what is the syntax for the filter option? I have played around and not be able to guess what I can do. My desire is to set up Coollector to open with 'my' default of filters, in this case adding 'movie and series' and MPAA rating. I have, so far, found those to be the most useful filters (other than 'owned'). I looked through the forums and did not see this address, but may have missed it, and could not find any documentation.

I must agree with everyone else and say that this is by far the best cataloger of videos I found.

Don't mess with it, it's just the file used by the program to remember your settings.

It's not possible, and frankly, I doubt that I'll ever add that option (there are just 1,001 improvements that are more useful).

But version 3 will be a small improvement, because it'll remember the exact filter settings that you used before closing the program, including the additional filters.
