I'd definitely have to say yellow

Me too, especially because it's coherent with the video boxes.

But I'm afraid some users might have a problem with the yellow color

What I liked most is the font size and type. I think that it would still look good if the color was different.

The light text, with dark outline and no underline looks good

I see no problems with it

I'm not good with colors. You're welcome to make tests with other colors.

I took your Image and experimented with changing the hue. Your current color is OK except that it might be drawing a bit too much attention to itself so I didn't bother to change any other values but the hue.

Of all those i tested I think this color would work the best to stand out in the lists without distracting from the rest of the interface. Both look OK though so its all up to what you like most. :)

Thank you very much for your testings. Personally, I still prefer the original yellow.

All the users are welcome to give their opinion. ;)

The forum needs an option to send an email when a new message/response is posted in the topic someone is subscribed to. It has one that says to "Notify me when a reply is posted", but there is usually a second option in forums, that says; "Notify me by email when a new message is posted".

Trust me, I have subscribed to a lot of forums and I am very familiar with this option! I enable it every time, in every forum that I register for. :)

Hi,..

Normaly there are MANY more user prefs in PHPBB !
Enabling the email feature by new reply´s to an topic is normally whitin
the user preferences. 75% of the user prefs are disabled in this Forum
that´s why the option isn´t there.

All the features seem to be enabled. I've spent more than an hour trying to find what I was doing wrong.

You're not as bad as you seem to think. Skinamp likes your idea and I thought it was good too.

Thank you. What I meant is that I'm not an artist at all, and it's very hard for me to pick colors or make drawings.

Hi,..

I think the colors are fine, still there would be the option making
the program skinnable ? This is an feature people like and gives
the artists in the crowd the possibility to express themselves :-)

======

Hector,..

It´s more than 4 years ago that i used to have my own forum.
I´m not sure where to look for the option enabling user to turn on
email notification ! maybe there are other users that do.
The screenshot is only a very small part of the board prefs, there
must be a lot more !!

=
edit :
I installed phpbb on my own server and didn´t find the option !
I think this is the solution to the problem of email notification :
http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/board_watch/
Offcourse i don´t know if you are familiar with installing mods ?

Of course it's still planned to make the program skinnable. I had done 40% of the work, almost a year ago. I don't know when I'll find time to finish.

I only showed the parts that were relevant to prove that mails were enabled.

Thanks, but I prefer to go back to releasing version 3.
