The string search makes abstraction of any punctuation mark. You can still type a punctuation mark, simply it will be interpreted as a space. For instance, if you type "De-Lovely" you'll get "de lovely", and if you type "song's" you'll get "song s". But that's is fine, as you get the result that you wanted.

hi,

I have tried this but it doesn't allow me to continue after song the apostrophe does not appear as a space and I cannot type the s as it wont let me.

A song's best friend is in IMDB's data base but I cannot get it to appear in Coollector.

I must be entering something wrong.

A song's best friend is a music documentary. It's not in Coollector because our database includes only movies and series.

The program doesn't let you because no movie in our database has a title that matches.

You can't. Our database isn't the IMDb database.

With Coollector Movie Database, you can only manage your movies and series. It's like that, you take it or leave it.

On the IMDb, yes you can find documentaries, music concerts, porn movies, etc... But we won't add them to our movie & series database.

We have plans to create a separate database for documentaries, but to be honest, that won't happen very soon.
