Dear Hector,

is there any possibility to delete all movie locations?
I've changed network storage and I want to re-associate all the movies, but, on the other hand, I don't want to loose rating/wished etc information.

I can see two possibilities right now:
- delete all path/file information at once
OR
- search for non-existing files (just like WinAMP library, for example)

Is any of that possible?

Many thanks,
OrganiQ

PS: I love this program more and more, third version is a step forward, again! ;)

I think you should use "control + L" which is a way to mass edit all your location fields, and was intended for this special case.

For instance, if "C:\Movies" became "F:\Films", it will allow you to replace the string "C:\Movies" by "F:\Films" in all your location fields.

Thank you very much :D

That was quick, thanks for the reply! ;)

I'll try that later today. I'm little afraid that it will be a little tricky - I've concatenate several network locations into one new and, while I changed anyway, I've renamed/moved/relocated several movies (and series-that scares me the most ;) ).

I' think that this will help in cca 90%, the rest will be "manual labour" ;)

Many thanks again!
Organiq

Dear Hector,

I've tired (just for the try, I'm outside the home NAS), but I'm unable to write to the textedit - I'm sure that the search component has the cursor/focus, but instead the movie search is active (please see attached PNG).

Any idea?

THanks again,
Organiq

If you use it wisely, it can do 100% of the job.

Start with the series that you're the most afraid of the result, and use the longest possible string to make sure that you'll modify the files from this series, and only those files.

You're right, I have broken it with the release of version 3. I will fix it and send you the new version.

Thank you very much for finding this bug !
