The program will not automatically open my own collection file. When I use the tool to find the MyCoollection file, the program is unable to open it. I get an 'abort', 'ignore', 'cancel' error message.
Can somebody suggest a solution?
Thanks.

Mac or Windows ?

Do you close Coollector before trying to open the coollection file ?

I don't understand what you're trying to do, but you shouldn't get an error message.

I am currently using Windows 7. When my collection file was compiled (up until last month), I was using Windows XP.
I have downloaded the current shareware version of Coollector [19.3]. I am trying to merge my coollection file with the current base program so that it lists/recognises that collection.

If the program Coollector is closed, and you double-click a coollection file, wherever it is on your computer, that coollection file should be opened and read by Coollector.

If you want Coollector to read that coollection file at launch, you must replace the default coollection file with this coollection file.

At what moment does it go wrong for you ? Does double-clicking the coollection work ?

I don't understand why you get an error message. Maybe your coollection file has a problem. Please mail it to me so I can look if it's ok.

Here's my email address: hector at coollector dot com
