I have written a post that describes the various movie recommendation systems and how Coollector compares with them:

Of course, it's the history page, you can find it on the top right of the site:

Unless I misunderstood your question, there's already a PLAY button...

First you scan your files with the menu "Tools->Scan your video files"

https://www.coollector.com/help.html#scanning

Then either you go to the movie you want to watch and click the "Play" icon, or you right click the movie from a grid and play it from there.

yep, I guess you misunderstood my question, when I say PLAY button, i mean, not not in the software, but in the personal movie library published, and accesible from a web browser

Thanks, now I understand better what you mean.

You probably have in mind a functionality similar to Plex or Jellyfin, which requires to run an app on your computer to turn it into a local server.

I'm sorry, I don't have any (short-term) plan to do that.

When you use Plex or Jellyfin, you have to connect to the address of your computer turned into a file server.

Coollector's online publishing page is hosted on my website coollector.com, it's not technically possible to add a PLAY button to that page.
