Request for better printing

I would love to see a better print facility, with prints showing title, year, IMDB score, thumb, main actor(s)

Yes, I plan to greatly improve the printing feature which is very basic right now.

When you improve the printing, please make an option to put "location" next to the title.
The entire reason I downloaded this program is to catalog my movies. I assign each movie a number, and would love to be able to print out either by title, alphabetically or by location.
Hopefully that is a feature other users would find helpful also.

There's no doubt. I'm sorry that this feature is still missing.

My plan for the next weeks/months:

1) finish the skin feature.

2) add an import feature.

3) improve the export/print feature.

Part of why I was interested in the program is so I could export a list of all my movies and their location.

By copying the list in .txt format and pasting it in excel I can alphabetize it, but it would be useful if the printing feature gave a couple of options like 'A-Z or Z-A' and the possibility of choosing (by ticking off boxes) what is printed (location, type of movie, etc.) rather than a fixed set of what is printed. Although I'm not sure that is possible? Just throwing it out there.

Even less sure if it's possible... different export formats? .txt, excel, word, pdf ?

Anyway, thanks for your hard work so far and for what is to come!

You don't need Excel to alphabetize your list. At the bottom left of the list, simply set "order by" to "title".

Yes, that's the plan.

The planned formats are TXT, XML and HTML. Excel should be able to read the XML. I don't know about Word and Pdf, but I suppose that kind of conversion is possible.

You're right. Compared to word and pdf, csv is very easy to implement.
