I've looked through the help and FAQ sections and can't find anything unless I just missed it.

I have some movies on my Hard Drive and some on DVD's. Is there any way to build a second owned list so they can be kept separate for when I want to make a printed list?

To list only the movies on your hard disk, you just have to click the menu "playable".

For your DVD movies, you click the menu "owned", then set the media type filter. Indeed, there'll be a problem if you own a mix of DVD R0, DVD R1, BLU-RAY, etc...

The same way there's a { video file } global value, maybe I could add in the future a { physical media } global value.

yep, I have some video cassetts, and some DVD's and they really are two seperate lists, as I almost never pull out the Video Cassetts. In fact I have many of them listed on my "wish" list so I remember to pick up replacements on dvd or blue ray format if I happen to run across a bargan.

Hey Hector, that just caused me to realize something. I Hardly watch movies at the cinema anymore. I usually wait till the movie is released on dvd and blu-ray instead. How about some notification when a disc is added for the first time for a movie on the wish list. That way Coollector users will know when a movie they wanted to watch is finally available on amazon etc.

I'm like you.

I plan to greatly extend the wish feature.

You should be able to say if you only wish to see a movie, or if you wish to own a video of it. And if you wish to own, you should be able to set a price alert. The price alert would be set for some media types in general (for example, DVD + BLU-RAY), or for an existing video in particular.

In your case, you'd set a general alert with a $0 trigger.
