Hi Mr. Cool:
I notice that many of the new titles to DVD are not in your database (e.g. "Charlie Wilson's War", "I'm Not There", "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", and others). How often is the database updated with the newest current releases? Thanks!

Hi OskiBr !

Usually, we update the database in priority with the new released videos. Except that those last weeks, we've added series to the program, and concentrated on series. As a result, we're several weeks late with the new released video. Hopefully it will come back to normal in 2 weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So, I cannot really add any of my movies to my database? For instance I want to add ON ANY SUNDAY staring Merton Lawwill, Malcom Smith, and Steve McQueen.

I've just started adding my collection and have already found 17 movies not in your database.

What's the purpose of an Add button if I can't add?

Thanks,

Gene Hughes

The add button isn't to add movies, it's to add videos that you own.

This issue will be adressed very soon. In 2 or 3 weeks, you'll be able to tell us what movies you're missing, and those movies will be added to the database, for the benefit of everybody. Thank you for being patient.

Coollector as pointed out my others crashes regularly. Here are some lines from the debugger in case it will help. This happens while I'm searching for movie titles and/or adding them.

Dammit ! I was convinced that I had fixed those random crashes with version 2.09. Are you sure you're using the latest version of the program ? When you mouse over the update button, does it say "Coollector 2.09" ?

Yes, I was running version 2.09. I just restarted and it downloaded and installed 2.10. The last time I used 2.09 it went berserk and my cpu usage went to 100%. I closed Coollector and it went away on the screen in from the list of running programs. But the computer stayed at 100%. I and found the coollector.exe process using 100% of cpu. After 10 minutes it was still doing that so I killed the process.

Well, here goes 2.10. I'll let you know what happens.

Still crashes. Entering using the movies search string. Also still having occasions when nothing responds to a mouse click in either pane. Only thing I could do was backspace the search string box. Had to change movies and then come back to this one. Usually went to person search string then back.

Ok, then I'll keep on searching for possible causes of program crash.

Oh yes, no need to wait 10 minutes... When you say that the program went berserk, did you have many picture windows popping up crazily ? Because it's a bug that has been reported to me, but that I still haven't been able to reproduce nor fix.

Thank you very much, your feedback is much appreciated !

Unfortunately, I can't get any information from this.

Could you please try something:

1) close Coollector
2) go to "My Documents\Coollector\Tmp\"
3) delete the file "indexing.dat".

A corrupted "indexing.dat" could be the reason of those crashes...
