Crash when identifying 'not recognized' files

Sat Jan 04, 2025 9:56 pm

Hi,

When scanning files, specifically series, in the 'scan results' sometimes a number of them will end up in the 'not recognized year' folder, for example if the file name just starts with numbers, and the series name is in the folder name.

When several series (or seasons) are affected like this, initially the 'not recognized year' functionality works fine; for the first file, you click on 'use folder name', it identifies the correct series, and asks if you want to use the folder name for the other files in the folder. Clicking yes works, the files are all removed from 'not recognized' list and placed in the 'recognized' list.

However - it seems that if the 'use the folder name for other files' option would clear the 'not recognized' list completely, there is a crash. Only the first file is moved to the 'recognized' list, and the others apparently stay in the 'not recognised' list (based on the numbers at the scan results window). If you go back to look at the 'not-recognised' list, if you mouse-over the filenames, the filenames dissapear and are replaced with a blank entry; when you do this a couple of times, Coollecter crashes.

Thanks,

Thank you very much, it'll be fixed with the next version.
