Upgrade problem

Hi, I am new to the program. So far have found that when updating the database auto on startup of coollector, once finished can't close the flash. So can't use the program. All buttons don't work so that when I try to even close down the computer Coollector prevents that from happening. Can only get out of it by using power off/on button. ?????
Also as a suggestion as this is supposed to be a database. Presumably when you add owned dvds to your collection, why can't a reference be made to the dvd in the collection? So that the dvd can be found physically?

Are you on Mac or Windows ?

If on Mac, is it the Mac App Store version ?

If Windows, is it the portable version ?

The "location" field is what you should use. You type any info you want that will help you to locate your physical media, for example "big box in the attic", or "shelve 2, row 4".
