What is your operating system ?

Please describe precisely what you do that makes the program crash.

I run windows XP and did not have the problem before.

When I want to search for a movie to add to my collection it crash back to windows, I tried lot of times and with differend movies.

My previous hard disc died on me and I had to reinstall my compleet PC and used the backup database from coollector that I had saved on my external drive.

Maybe a problem between my saved database and a new version of coollector?

I can't remember my previous version.

I hope this all make some sense :)

The moviedatabase is more than 135MB, I hope it will send :)

Then your problem isn't a corrupted file.

Maybe I couldn't reproduce the bug because we don't have the same interface settings.

What skin are you using ? Does it stop crashing if you change the skin ?

Or maybe it's the grid layout. Can you fix the crash by changing the grid layout ?

Do you get an error message ?

And at what moment does it exactly crash ?

When you make the string search ? When you click the add button from the owned videos box ? When the video window appears ? When you click the "add as owned" button ?

Here's the previous version of the program:

http://www.coollector.com/Coollector.3.23.5.exe

Please try it to see if the bug was introduced by the latest version.

With version 3.23.6, I've changed how the grid text is displayed, and it seems the most likely source of crash.

It'd be great if you could show me a screenshot of your interface layout.

I think I found the error :yahoo:

I have uninstalled the skin and reinstalled it, that seem to be the problem, I have added 5 movies so far without errors.

Seems that installed skins don't work proper with a backup use.

I hope this will help you to fine tune your awesome program.

Many thanks for the support

Really sorry about your health. I wish you'll feel better soon.

I'm sorry that I've rushed you, but I was very afraid that I might have lost you, because it's a rare opportunity when a user has a bug he can reproduce.

Take all the rest you need, I won't worry anymore if you take time to answer me.
