Apparently something happened that staggered my internet connection and so I had an extended wait waiting for just a few movie queued posters to finish downloading.

Coollector handles it well when a connection is lost however it seems that (at least in my case) when the connection remains but is extremely slow the small movie poster is frozen onscreen no matter which movie is focused until all queued images have been downloaded (in this case a few minutes).

Confirmed: After adding 64 large posters to queue in 1 min 1 sec It took the next 2 min 28 sec for the images to be downloaded. During this time the poster in the movie panel was non-responsive and sometimes barely responsive. I'm not sure this can be called a bug though...

You're probably putting the server under a lot of stress.

When you select a movie, the pictures of the existing videos are downloaded too, as well as the character pictures, and if there's no character picture, then the person picture is downloaded. You should set the casting grid to have only 1 column, and reduce the size of Coollector's window to display less videos and less persons.

Downloading a picture has a timeout value. If the picture isn't received before the time is out, Coollector tries to download the picture again. For the big pictures, the timeout is 20 seconds longer than with the small pictures.

OK, kool.

I left the list like that for 3 reasons:
- Many of those images are already downloaded from the first time when it was set to show less persons.
- I plan to download those too if/when i get the chance. It helps to get some from now.
- I set the list to scroll slow enough that thew will have time to download as well.

The first time, many persons didn't have a character picture of a picture at all. The second time, program will try again to see if there's now a picture.

Don't bother, I'll do it. For me, it's not a lot of work. It's just that I have other priorities right now ;)

I wanted them but If you're planning to do them in the future then I might as well wait. What I want the most are the small and large movie posters (which I almost already have). I think I'm good where that is concerned. :D
