when you adding new movies and rating persons same time as you add your movies, the left panel rating emoticons sometimes freeze and they are not available, but after few more movie adds they un-freeze ...

I'm afraid your comment is too vague. Please describe more precisely what you do, and what you mean by "freezing" if it's not the entire program that is frozen.

i add movie after movie and all goes smooth and well; as I adding movies, i rate the persons on these movies and at some point, the left panel "freeze", i cant select any movie, or rating emoticons there, but i can still scan my movies, after few more movies added left panel unfreeze and i'm able to select again rating emoticons or movies.
can't explain it better, sorry

What method do you use to add the movies? Do you scan them automatically? Do you manually associate them with the "play" icon? Do you use the video boxes?

What operations do you make with the panels. Do you use the filtered search to find the movies?

Ok, thanks for the info.

Please give me enough details so I have a chance to reproduce the bug ;)

i scan them automatically but 1 title at a time.
as i add a title i go to rate the actors from that title ... and after few title added this way, my left panel freez when i select an actor, and by freez i understand that i cannot rate the person on the left panel or select any titles from that berson (bellow its image, still left panel)
but scanning from menu works and i can add/scan more titles... after a while the panel is operative again.

Oh, now I remember your stange way of doing things, and I understand better what you describe.

How do you reach the movie that you're adding? Do you make a string search?

I really need to know what panels you click and in what order.

first i scan the movie, when it was found (on the scan pop-up window) i click it to bring it in front of the right side panel
on right side panel i rate it and go to rate the actors
when i click an actor (when the freezing happen, the left side panel goes in freez mode and i'm unable to select anything there (rating or other movies from same person)

i return to scan more movies and after a while everything come back to normal ...

btw, you flattering me, recognizing i'm not following the straight way, and not "WE" who follows different ways are the best testers?

I hadn't thought about that. Now I finally understand.

It's true that you're testing the program in ways that I had never thought of. But frankly, I wouldn't recommend to anyone your way of doing things
