Do you get only 1 error message, or do you get an error message for each subfolder?

The error message was only for the HDD that I had renamed 3TB. The error message was relating to the fact that I had changed the HDD name twice before refreshing the program. After I had renamed the HDD and restarted Coollector there were no error messages and Coolector still will not work with that HDD. All of my other external HDD's work with Coollector, the 3TB HDD that I am unable to use with Coollector is the only one that is formatted Case-sensitive Journaled. Thanks

Case-sensitive... Case-sensitive... Case-sensitive... And suddenly, there's a bright light flashing in my head!!!

A couple of days ago, I've noticed that the scanning feature had a small bug: all the folder names got lowercased.
I will immediatly build you a version of the program with this bug fixed, and you'll tell me if it helps :excited:

Yes, thankyou. It seems you had a light-bulb moment. Surely I wont be the only Coollector user to have formatted a HDD this way so others will benefit from your efforts as well. Lets hope it solves the problem. Cheers

Here is the new version:

I am hopeful, but I'm not 100% confident because the error message from your screenshot didn't have the folder name lowercased... Fingers crossed :worried:

Sorry, you're right, the file had a problem. I have uploaded again, and checked that it's fine.

Thankyou sir, you have solved this problem. I am using the program now, working perfectly. I am glad you were able to fix it, I was getting ready to move 3TB of files and reformat that HDD. Thanks again, much appreciated. Regards: Terry :yahoo:

Oh my god, I'm so glad :w00t:

This bug has plagued me for several years. I've literally spent days trying to find the explanation!

Thanks a million! Don't hesitate to ask me licenses for your friends, it'll be a pleasure.

You would have been notified soon. It seems all three of us encountered this at the same time.

I use the json files generated by coollector to run a movie streaming site on my LAN. While editing the json i noticed the lowercase foldernames, i made note of it saying to myself I'd need to find out if this is purposeful since i might switch to a linux server sooner or later.

What are the odds?

I think this bug is there since the very beginning, nearly 2 years ago. And suddenly, everybody notices it during the same week? That's so weird!

I like this error message much better. Maybe I have a chance to do something.

I've started making some tests, but now I have to go to bed. I'll get back to it tomorrow.

Dude, you have to start getting to bed earlier. That's not healthy. 02:00 is not healthy. :w00t:
