"Language of the files" dialog box

Sun Apr 06, 2014 9:34 am

Assuming it's a bug and not a feature :) - when adding movies via the file scan, when you hit the 'Add the recognized files' button, a box pops up, headed 'Language of the files', and saying 'The language field will be set as', and for me at least defaulting to English.

Not a big problem, but wasn't doing that before - and if it's meant to happen would seem a bit odd that it would set everything to the same language :)

Thanks,

It's a feature that I promised to add several months ago...

After scanning their files, non-english users could have the bad surprise to discover that the language field was set to "English", but it was too late, and very difficult to fix. Now they get the opportunity to set the language to whatever they want, and the next time they'll use the scanning feature, the suggested language will be the one they've set.

It's always been like that. When you scan video files, the language field is set to the last language you've used.
