Post subject:  Episode Information keeps disappearing !
Hello ! I noticed this weird bug which causes the series episode info to disappear.. noticed it a few versions ago but kept neglecting it!
Also at times the enlarged versions of the movie or people disappear in spite of having downloaded them !

File comment: If you notice here you will see that the series episode info isnt there.. although I had downloaded and even rated individual episodes.. this has happened before too.. once I download the info again the ratings appear too..

Did you use the F5 key to force the pictures to be downloaded again? When you do that, any version of the picture, big or small, will be removed from your disk...

Do you have a reliable internet connection? A series like "The Big Bang Theory" has a lot of episodes, which makes a big file to download. If the download fails because of a poor internet connection, the program will give up and consider that there's no episode information...

Nope I didnt.. I know f5 does that but in this case I didnt..

Yes I do have a reliable connection..The problem's isnt with the download.. because you see, I had all the info downloaded and I had also rated the individual episodes.. but then they vanished and the "154/163" was replaced by "series".. but then when I downloaded the info again the ratings too appeared !

Each time you go to a series, the episode list is downloaded, in case a new episode has just aired. If that download fails, then the program thinks that there's no list. Another explanation of your problem would be that some files are deleted from your disk. That's weird, but that's the only other explanation. In some cases, Coollector deletes some files (unreadable pictures), but I've checked my code and I don't think it could happen with episodes lists. I'm puzzled :wacko:

Yes, the program looks if you've rated some episodes only when it has an episode list.

In fact, the program loads the list on your disk first, and displays it if there's one. Only after that it'll download the list in case it was updated.

All this points to the file being deleted from your disk. Personally, I've never observed this behavior, though I use the program a lot. Did somebody notice the same problem?

I haven't changed anything, and it's still working fine on my side.
