Movie Collector picks the wrong movie.

I have a movie called The Clay Pigeon. MC picks a movie called Clay instead. This is only one example. I have been through maybe 20 so far. The Clay Pigeon is listed in the IMDb. Why?

The program refers to its own database (not the IMDb). If a movie is missing from our database (or if it's wrongly spelled), then either it won't be associated at all, either it'll be associated to a wrong movie. That's why you need to carefully check the results of the scan.

This may be a repeat. Many of my movies are older and not so famous. My spelling was correct on my movie. MC picked a movie with one word of my movie title. Mine was from 1949 and the movie picked by MC was from 2007. This was just one example as I said. There were more and I wasn't very far on my list. Looks like I would have a lot of work to get the list right. Guess I'll keep on looking. Thanks
