| Post subject: | Program hangs on specific files search |
Hi, i just started using Coollector movie db. when searching for movies the program hangs on specific file name, even on .srt files. I have removed an entire folder, started the search again but it hangs again....on a different file is there something i should to? i do not think i have strange or unusual file names thanks |

Are you able to know which file name is a problem? To confirm it's the right file, are you able to create a folder with only that file and the program still hangs? If that's the case, please give me the file name and path, and I'll see if it happens on my computer too. |

Hi Hector, i discovered why. no hangs it took 1 hour and a half to complete the first video scan i was assuming it was stuck ticket closed thanks |

If the program seemed to be hanging (no new file name being displayed), the only explanation that I can think of is that it was scanning tons of files, but none of them were video files. Is it the explanation? If that's the case, probably you should scan only the folder that contains your movies, or reorganize you folders if needed, because normally the scanning is lightning fast. |
