not finding movies

i got movies on my hard drive 343 in one folder so i scan folder list only 269
anything i am doing wrong

Is 269 the number of scanned files or is it the number of added movies?
If several files are associated to the same movie, it's normal that you have less added movies, especially in the case of series episodes.

ok got it now show 269 files added but go to series there they are i guess i need to reread and understand

Are you sure it says "files added"? Where does it say that?
Or does it just say "269 owned movies"?
