When I try to load my (attached) MyCoollection.cool file the whole system gives me a dump file. I think it has something to do with attempting to loan out Shawshank Redemption because the application hasn't worked correctly since I did that.

Any help is gladly appreciated!

It was indeed a problem with the loan. Your coollection file doesn't contain the name of the person nor the date of the loan. Normally it's impossible, the interface forces you to select a name. Do you remember what name you entered or how you managed to not select a name?

With the next version, I will modify the app to avoid it to crash when this case happens, but it would be much better if I could understand (and fix) how this case managed to happen. For that I need you to tell me how you did it.

Meanwhile, I have un-loaned the movie, please find attached your fixed coollection file:

I suppose that you know how to restore it:
https://www.coollector.com/help.html#coollection

By the way, when your coollection file gets corrupted, you can restore your latest automatic backup:
https://www.coollector.com/help.html#backups

But I'm glad you reported this bug, I hope we'll be able to determine how it happened.

Thank you so much! Yes, I can restore it from here.

All I had done was try out the "loan" feature on the program. I put down the name "Julie." That worked fine. When I right-clicked on the movie to "unloan", it wouldn't let me. After that, I couldn't even open up the program.

It's working great now after you fixed it. So glad. I love your program. Thanks again!

It's too bad I can't reproduce the bug. I've tried both by clicking the icon and by right clicking the grid, but for the moment, no bug...
