Hey I was reinstalling coollector and it tripped Antivir. It says it contains a pattern of the dropper DR/Fraud.WinDefen.A They published that detection pattern on 21 November. http://www.avira.com/it/threats/section/vdfhistory/ivdf_no/7.01.00.119/7.01.00.119.html |

Thank you very much for reporting this problem. In fact, Softpedia.com has just refused Coollector 2.27 because of this virus detection. Don't worry too much, it's a false positive. I've installed Avira Antivir, and all the files inside the installer "Coollector_Setup.exe" are clean. Only when I compile the installer it is reported as infected. I've made some tests, and I think I should be able to eliminate this false warning by making some slight changes to the way the installer is compiled. |

Yippi ! I've found the origin of the problem: I had upgraded NSIS, my install builder. By reverting to an older version of NSIS, the installer isn't confused with a virus anymore. [RANT]I wouldn't say that the problem comes from NSIS. More likely, it's Avira Antivir who has virus signatures that suck.[/RANT] |
