Post subject:  Possible bug

Hi Hector,
The latest version of the program seems to have become a bit unstable.
Whenever I perform a string search for a movie eg. "Yip man", I enter the first word "yip" it finds it ok in the database, but then when I follow on by entering the word "man" which is not in the database, the program crashes.
This seems to happen all the time

edit: Actually it seems to be more buggy then I thought, the program seems to crash even if I perform a simple task suck as clicking on a video title that I own. :(

On my side, I don't have any of those crashes. But from what you describe, it looks like there's something wrong with your indexing.

Please try deleting your indexing, so it'll be completely rebuilt:

1) click the help button (the central top button with a question mark icon '?').
2) click"my coollection file".
3) click "Go to default coollection".
4) now that you're in the folder of your default coollection, close Coollector.
5) delete the folder "Tmp" you'll find there.
6) start Coollector again and test it.

7) tell me if the problem is solved.

Ok, please send me your coollection file:

"My Documents\Coollector\MyCoollection.cool"

at this adress: "hector at coollector dot com"

I'll look if it's corrupted, and if it is, I'll explain you how to restore your last backup (backups are made automatically by the program).

Conclusion: the file wasn't corrupted. Uninstalling and re-installing mysteriously fixed the problem...
