Wed Sep 16, 2009 11:57 am

hi there ,

for the past few days i have not been able to view the programme.

the programme runs in the background but i can't see anything on screen.

i haven't changed any settings that would cause this (to my knowledge).

Have you tried restarting your computer, or at least killing the program from the Windows Task Manager ?

Or, on the contrary, have you let the program run in the background for long enough (up to half an hour) before killing it ? Because that would be necessary in the case you have many Coollector pictures on your hard drive, and have just upgraded from a very old version (before v2.45). In this case, the program is moving the pictures to a new location, and it can be long.

If none of this apply, tell me and I'll give you other things to check.

Same problem

Firstly thanks Hector for a great programme. I'm running XP and v2,45 (I think) and sometimes when I close Coollector the Exit or Close symbol (whichever I've used) stays visible on top of all other windows and I can't reopen the programme. Rebooting has worked in the past, and just now I checked Task Manager which didn't show Coollector as still running. It doesn't seem to matter how long I leave it stuck, and as I have my movies on an external hd (usually turned off) I don't have the option activated to run movies from Coollector.

Many thanks, Sir Henry

Before all, you should install the latest version (2.60):

Please tell me if it works better with this version.
