Hello,

I get this message everytime I try to add any information on coollector : "warning: your changes could not be saved! Another user has made changes before you. The program will close and load those changes."

If I click on "ok" the program reloads itself but I still get the same warning. I've tried with version 2.62 or the lastest avaiable here and it's just the same.

I'm the only one using coollector and the message shows up everytime I reinstall after cleaning older coollectors files and folders.

The only way I don't get the warning message is by deleting the "mycoollection" file but then I've got a warning about the missing file and anything I add is lost.
I've tried everything you recommand on the forum, I cannot find the solution myself. I hope you can help me because coollector seems great.

I'm using french windows XP Media center edition from 2002.
Thanks,

Bobbie

What's the location of "MyCoollection.cool" on your system ?

Did you switch to a guest account ? Or are you using the same account with which you installed the program ?

I'd really like to understand what's going wrong with your system, but it'll probably be a difficult task with many tests that I'll ask you to do.

And maybe you simply don't want to go into all those troubles...

The easiest way for you to have Coollector working is to install the portable version:

http://www.coollector.com/Coollector_Portable_Setup.exe

(please confirm that it works fine)

But if you're also OK to spend some time to help me elucidate your system mystery, I'll much appreciate.

Portable version installed. It's working ! (youhou  ).
MyCoollection is under Program files.

I'm ok to do some tests. Just tell me what to do.

Thank you for your quick and efficient answer.
