Database files not uploading to program

Fri Nov 19, 2010 5:58 am

I have over 700 titles in my documents that wont attach to the program. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still isn't working. The program indicates that I don't own any movies. Help.

1) Select the menu "Help->Locate the automatic backups". How many backups do you have in there ?

2) Close Coollector.

3) Double-click the most recent backup (the one with the biggest number) to view it with Coollector. If that backup isn't good, test the previous backup.

4) to restore your best backup, you must replace your default coollection file with this backup. For that, you copy the backup to the parent folder (which contains the folder "Backups" and the file "MyCoollection.cool"). Then you close Coollector, delete "MyCoollection.cool", and rename your backup into "MyCoollection.cool".

Please tell me how it goes.

I'm very sorry about that.

Thankfully, as far as I know, database corruptions are very very rare.

The program makes an automatic backup when you close it, so it's a little safer to close the program from time to time if you input a lot of movies in a row.
