It seems that there's a small loophole in your algorithm

I think i figured it out. Coollector automatically decreases the amount of columns when i re-size manually by pulling the window edges, but not when i use the "Restore Down" button. For some reason it doesn't seem to recognize this as resizing.

...linking the 'window restore' event to the function for decreasing no. of columns would probably solve this

In A Related Matter, The max no. of columns remains the same after maximizing. In the image below even though coollector is maximized I am unable to add columns.
