when i renamed a movie (adding the year to the name), in the next real scan the movie was associated as a second file to the same movie but i can't play it through the database, edit the info or remove either of them.
and if i clicked on the play button or the owned video underneath it the program freezes.

I'm surprised that the program freezes. I don't have that on my computer.

What version of Windows are you using ? Is it 64 bits ?

win xp sp3 32-bit
try changing the file name from the computer not the program after that the program freezes whenever you click on play or on the owned video button.
