prog crash while scaning a big disk database -over 750 movie and i got this message-
C:\wx\include\wx/string.h(1576): assert "!emptyO" failed in
wxString::LastO: wxString: index out of bounds

i got win7 ultimate x64
the big disk is 2 tera usb3


the collector ver is 3.04
on ver 2.88 all worked fine

At what moment does it crash ? Right from the start ? or after a moment ?

Have you tried only once ?

Please try again to see if it crashes at the exact same level.

Also, you could try restarting your computer before, maybe that will help.

Does it contain several folders ? Does it help to scan one folder at a time ?

it has many subfol but it crashes at 680 or so files
but also when i split the main and tried the new sub with only 350 alone it crashed

i attached 2 files

Looks like the program stumbles on a file, and that file is one of those 350.

Please make a scan preview with the other half, to see how it goes.

Unfortunately those files were produced by the "release" version, and they don't contain enough information.

I'm busy right now, but later today I'll send a "debug" version that will produce files with much more information.

All the problems are now solved with version 3.08.
