If i delete a film it still shows as owned next time i scan files.
Also, if i change file location within the scanned folders it picks it up as new file.
When i change location of file i have to scan drive, note the new ones (really just moved), delete from owned, then scan again picking up movie again.
Can it pick up that i have a same file name and ask if it is moved file, then it could just adjust the location details.
or... if i move one can i just go to the film and click edit, then manually edit the location so when next scanning it does not see it as new.

When you change the location of your files, you should use the keyboard shortcut CONTROL + "L"
http://www.coollector.com/help.html#shortcutsto replace a string by another string in all the location fields.
For example, it's possible to replace the string "C:\Movies\" by the string "G:\Videos".

I don't understand. Why do you scan files if you don't want them to be added ?
